About This Course
This course is ideal for anyone wishing to become a first aider. It covers a wider range of subjects than that covered by the Level 2 Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. The course provides delegates with the skills and knowledge to deal with first aid situations in higher risk workplaces, or workplaces with a high number of employees. This includes environments in factories, construction, forestry, sports, and other high-risk workspaces. The course content is produced in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
The practical learning outcomes will be assessed by observation. There will be Multi Choice Questions (MCQ) for the theory and underpinning knowledge. This qualification is made up of 2 Units, which are assessed separately
- Unit 1: 2 Emergency First Aid at Work
- Unit 2: Recognition and Management of Illness and Injury in the Workplace
To pass this course, learners must pass the assessments carried out by observation, together with the MCQ paper.
